Caleb Serong, Andrew Brayshaw and Lachie Schultz were among the best afield through the eyes of Justin Longmuir and John Longmire at the weekend, with the trio earning AFLCA coaches’ votes against Sydney.

Serong amassed more football than any other player on ground with 32 disposals (17 contested) and 10 clearances, including a game-high eight from the centre bounce, to take home eight votes from the coaches.

The inside midfielder also had five inside 50s, four marks and four tackles.

It totals 61 votes for the season to date for Serong, who has polled in eight out of a possible 17 games this year.

Schultz booted four majors to collect three votes, tirelessly working to apply pressure on the Swans defence laying seven tackles.

The sharpshooter also took six marks and had six score involvements for the match.

Brayshaw earnt two votes for his 26-disposal performance that featured an equal game-high of nine score involvements, four tackles and a goal.

The other vote-getters were Sydney’s Luke Parker, Lance Franklin, Will Hayward and James Rowbottom.
