Michael Frederick's spectacular goal against Geelong is up for nomination as the best goal of round 20 in the rebel AFL Goal of the Year.

The forward's running goal deep in the pocket came at a crucial time in the fourth quarter to bring Fremantle within a point in their eventual seven-point win.

Frederick is up against Sydney's Errol Gulden and Adelaide's Taylor Walker for the round 20 nomination.
