Walyalup are back home this weekend for the second of two rounds in this season's AFLW Indigenous Round, and will take on St Kilda this Sunday 22 October at Walyalup Oval. Bounce down for the clash is at 12.05pm WST.

This weekend Walyalup will continue the celebration and acknowledgment of First Nations culture and contributions to the game, featuring a number of engaging and educational activities for the crowd to get involved in pregame and during the breaks.

TICKETING
Tickets can be purchased at the game on Sunday, however, we encourage fans to buy tickets before arriving at Walyalup Oval from Ticketmaster. Those who are hoping to buy from the ground will need to scan one of the available QR Codes to do so. The event is a Mobile Online Ticketing event, this means your phone is your ticket. Our enhanced digital tickets mean that you won’t be able to use screenshots of tickets to get into the venue, please transfer any additional tickets prior to arrival.

Brand new for 2023... The Deck!
Introducing The Deck - a brand new standing area that offers shade, food and beverage options, and a range of fun activities. The Deck will be located to the right of the scoreboard on the eastern side of the oval. AFLW members have FREE access to The Deck for all home games at Walyalup Oval - simply show your ticket to staff to gain access.

Entry is subject to capacity, so arrive early to secure your spot.

South Fremantle Football Club Grandstand and Victoria Pavilion
Members can secure FREE seating in the Victoria Pavilion or South Fremantle Grandstand for our games at Walyalup Oval. To do so, you will need to redeem a ticket through Ticketmaster using your member barcode. Entry is subject to capacity.

MOBILE TICKETING
If you purchased your ticket through Ticketmaster, the easiest and safest way to access tickets to your events is via mobile ticketing. When you select mobile delivery at checkout, your mobile phone is your ticket and your ticket will not be available for print or be emailed to you. Please ensure your mobile phone is charged to allow your tickets to scan on arrival at the venue.

Airbrush tattoo
Head to the right of the main gate and get a Walyalup-themed airbrush tattoo to proudly show your support for the girls along with a range of First Nations designs.

Come and meet some of your favourite players between 11.15am-11.45am.

The Walyalup merchandise team will be based in the Bankwest Shipping Container to the left of the main gate from 10.50am.

Moorditj Markets presented by Woodside Energy
Walyalup fans will be able to explore and support a pop-up style market that showcases a variety of First Nations artists and businesses. 

Wandering Walyalup presented by Woodside
A fun and educational activation, Wandering Walyalup will consist of six checkpoints throughout Walyalup Oval, each featuring a different Indigenous symbol. Scan the QR code alongside the Indigenous symbol to learn more about what the image represents.

PRE-GAME

Boox Kid
Performing pre-game and quarter time is Fremantle singer-songwriter and producer Boox Kid. Boox Kid is a proud Noongar man bringing his unique electro-pop performance to Walyalup Oval.

Welcome to Country
The Club is honoured to have its Club patron Dr Richard Walley OAM, a respected Noongar Elder and one of Australia’s leading Aboriginal performers and writers, to perform Welcome to Country on-field at 12pm.

Joining Richard will be Olman Walley on the didgeridoo and the Little Boorloo Dance Group performing a traditional dance. 

PARKING
Please note that public parking in the area is extremely limited – both Parry Street Car Park and Cappuccino Strip Car Park will be unavailable. For more information on parking options, see here and here.

GATE AND VENUE ENTRY
You must enter and exit Walyalup Oval via Gate 1. Plan to arrive early at games where possible, to avoid crowds at entry points close to match start times.

  • No person is to approach players or officials for autographs or photos.
  • Bags or other items larger than an A3 piece of paper may not be permitted.
  • No cloaking facilities are available.
  • No chairs/ seats are permitted to be brought into the venue.
  • No pass-outs are available.
