Fremantle’s first fixture of 2024 has been confirmed, with the Club to play Carlton in the AFL’s second annual instalment of Gather Round in South Australia.

The Round 4 clash has been confirmed for Saturday 6 April at Adelaide Oval, with a bouncedown of 3.50pm local time.

The Club will wear its 2024 version of the Stealth Jumper for the Gather Round clash.

In the first ever Gather Round last season, Fremantle ran out 10-point winners over Gold Coast at Norwood Oval.

FULL GATHER ROUND FIXTURE:

Gather Round is set to continue its success in South Australia for the next three years, including 2024, 2025, and 2026.

This decision follows the overwhelming success of the inaugural event, which saw sold-out games and massive fan engagement.

The Adelaide Oval will remain the central venue for the event, with plans to expand regional matches to areas like the Barossa and McClaren Vale region starting in 2024.

The AFL has decided to release the Gather Round fixture dates ahead of the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season fixture announcement, ensuring fans have ample time to plan travel and accommodation.

The intent is to build upon the success of the inaugural event, making future Gather Rounds even more significant and better.
