The Fremantle Dockers are proud to announce the extension of their partnership with Burley Sekem as the Club’s official apparel sponsor until at least 2027.

Originally joining forces in 2020, Fremantle and Burley Sekem have forged a partnership that is committed to fostering community impact and success, with all Fremantle’s game day guernseys manufactured in WA.

Since its inception in 1907, Burley Sekem has been known for their quality football equipment and apparel, resulting in a revered status within the sporting community, holding official licenses with major sporting codes spanning across the AFL, NRL, CA, Football Australia and Rugby Australia.

Fremantle Head of Premium Sales, Retail & Licensing Adam Northover says Burley Sekem’s rich legacy within WA football brings unparalleled expertise and passion to the partnership.

“Burley Sekem’s unwavering support and dedication to WA football exemplifies the values we cherish at Fremantle,” Northover said.

“The extension of the partnership signifies a continuation of the collaboration between two iconic Western Australian football entities.

“We are thrilled to continue this partnership with the team at Burley Sekem, paving the way for future successes both on and off the field.

“Having our game day jumpers manufactured in WA adds extra certainty and security for the upcoming season and provides the Club with unparalleled operational flexibility from an on-field partner.”

“Echoing Northover’s comments, we are delighted to have extended our partnership as the two organisations have developed tremendous alignment and trust over the preceding three years,” Burley Sekem General Manager, Ed Cunningham said.

“With the Fremantle Football Club commemorating their 30th year in the AFL in 2024, its fitting that Burley Sekem is partnered with the Club for this celebration having initially provided the guernseys worn with pride by Fremantle in their inaugural season.

“With sustainability objectives and Climate Action Strategy being a significant focus for both Fremantle and Burley Sekem, the entire range is now made with eco-friendly fabric constructed entirely from recycled plastic bottles. In fact, an estimated 700,000 plastic bottles will be saved from landfill through the 2024 apparel range, something that both the Fremantle Football Club and Burley Sekem are immensely proud to partner on.”

Fremantle’s 2024 Burley Sekem Guernsey is now available for purchase at The Dock, Fremantle Dockers Team Store.
