Fremantle will challenge captain Alex Pearce’s three-match suspension

Fremantle will challenge captain Alex Pearce’s three-match suspension at the AFL Tribunal.

Pearce has been handed a three-match suspension by the Match Review Officer for rough conduct on Port Adelaide’s Darcy Byrne-Jones.

The incident occurred in the second quarter of Saturday night's Sir Doug Nicholls Round 11 clash at Optus Stadium and has been graded as careless conduct, severe impact and high contact.

The Club is waiting for confirmation on a date and time for the hearing.
