Peel Thunder hosted 10 Fremantle-listed players, as they mounted a strong comeback to defeat Subiaco by four points in a Saturday afternoon thriller.
Jack Delean has a notable performance for the Thunder, kicking five goals including the sealer, as Peel rolled their sleeves up in the second half to run over the top of Subiaco kicking 5.4 to 2.4.
Peel will now head into the bye alongside Fremantle before returning in Round 10 for a clash with West Coast at Rushton Park.
FREMANTLE LISTED PLAYERS
Will Brodie: Led the disposal count for Peel with 32 touches and was the only player on the ground to gather 30-plus disposals.
Nathan O'Driscoll: Continues to build well after returning from an ankle injury as he split his time between the wing and midfield. Finished the day with 21 disposals, four tackles and four inside 50s in what was a consistent performance across all four quarters.
Liam Reidy: Dominant in the ruck against Jedd Edwards (46-14 hitouts) and managed to hit the scoreboard. Impressed with 18 disposals and a game-high 7 inside 50s as well, though unfortunately was put on report for striking midway through the game.
Oscar McDonald: One of Peel's best for the day as he moved back into defence, finishing with a game-high nine marks along with 18 disposals.
Hugh Davies: Showed maturity in defence throughout the day as he picked off multiple offensive plays from Subiaco, rebounded well turning defence into offence with five inside 50s.
Jaren Carr: Played mostly on the wing for the match collecting 13 disposals, four marks and four inside 50s as he continues to grow as a first-year player for Fremantle.
Jack Delean: Peel's best performing forward in front of goals, kicking five, and was arguably the most influential player on the ground with 13 disposals and three tackles as well. Kicked back-to-back goals in the final minute of the first half to help set up Peel's fightback in the second.
Ollie Murphy: Matched up on dangerous Subiaco forward Ryan Borchet and built into his role as the day went on.
Aiden Riddle: Spent most of the day in attack and managed to hit the scoreboard with a classy goal in the final quarter, continues to show his strength in the contest as a rookie.
Charlie Nicholls: Had a quiet day in the forward line but brought good pressure in the final term.
