Eleven Fremantle-listed players were in action for the Thunder in the WAFL over the weekend, as Peel recorded a 52-point win over West Coast.
Quinton Narkle: After a stint on the sidelines with a knee injury, Narkle made a successful return for the Thunder, gathering 22 disposals while rotating between the midfield and half-forward line.
Isaiah Dudley: Similarly, Dudley made a successful return to the WAFL, providing a spark in the Thunder’s forward line. He kicked one major for the day but created multiple opportunities for himself, showcasing his flair. He also finished with 15 disposals.
Will Brodie: Was one of the standout performers on the day, controlling the midfield to gather a game-high 34 disposals, eight tackles, and eight inside-50s.
Nathan O’Driscoll: Continues to build his form, with his 24-disposal effort being among his side’s best on the day. Only Brodie and Jack Delean recorded more inside-50s than O’Driscoll.
James Aish: Continues his strong form, picking up 24 disposals to make it three consecutive weeks with 24 or more, playing across half-back. His on-field leadership remains important for the Thunder’s young defensive line.
Jack Delean: Impressed playing further up the ground, recording seven inside-50s and 18 disposals.
Hugh Davies: Was solid in defence again, finishing with 15 disposals. In a young backline, he was instrumental in helping restrict the Eagles to just seven goals from 43 entries.
Aiden Riddle: Kicked multiple goals for the first time at League level in the WAFL and continues to build his forward craft, while also pinch-hitting in the ruck for 11 hit-outs.
Liam Riedy: Was the dominant ruck on the day despite facing three different opponents throughout the game. He notched up 39 hit-outs, 16 disposals, and even hit the scoreboard with a goal.
Ollie Murphy: Was solid in defence, recording 12 disposals and five marks. He continues to build his defensive craft with each game.
Charlie Nicholls: Was one of Peel’s multiple goal kickers, including a highlight-reel goal from outside 50 in the first quarter. He finished the day with 10 disposals, three marks, and two goals.
