Fremantle have confirmed their extended squad of 26 to take on Carlton in Sunday’s Retro Round clash at Optus Stadium, with Will Brodie, Joshua Draper, and Brandon Walker the potential inclusions to Friday’s final team of 23.

Brodie, Draper, and Walker have all been named on the Club’s extended bench alongside Bailey Banfield, Sean Darcy, Isaiah Dudley, Neil Erasmus, and Murphy Reid.

Ruckman Luke Jackson has been named in the middle alongside Caleb Serong and Andrew Brayshaw.

RAC Derby 61’s Glendinning-Allan Medallist Hayden Young will start in the middle of the ground, with Jaeger O’Meara and Nathan O’Driscoll on the wings.

Fresh off a two-year contract extension, Karl Worner has been named at centre half-back, with Jordan Clark and Heath Chapman on the half-back flanks.

Skipper Alex Pearce continues to progress in his return to play from his shin injury and is expected to be available next weekend.

Nat Fyfe will make his return to football following a calf injury via Peel Thunder in the WAFL on managed minutes.

Serong will captain the side in Pearce’s absence.

Carlton have won seven of the past eight encounters against Fremantle, with the Club’s last win over the Blues coming at home in front of the Purple Army, prevailing by 35 points in Round 6 of 2022.

The home side has made Optus a fortress in 2025, with nine wins in their last 10 matches in Perth.

For Retro Round, Freo is going all the way back to 2003 to celebrate the design of its very first Purple Haze jumper, worn against Richmond in Round 18 at Subiaco Oval.

The Club’s home design at the time was originally updated in 2003 for the Purple Haze game, removing the red and green from the chest and leaving a two-tone purple and white anchor design.

It was the first time in the Club’s history that Freo had worn fewer than four colours in an official game.

Freo are also bringing back retro pricing for Retro Round, with $22 tickets to this weekend's game available for a limited time only. The old-school anchor jumper and ticket prices like it's 2003 all over again, this is a deal too good to turn down. You'll need to be quick as limited availability applies on this special offer.

Bounce down on Sunday is at 3.10pm WST at Optus Stadium.

The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7, Fox Footy, and streamed live on Kayo and 7plus from 3pm WST.

Fremantle’s final team will be announced at 3pm WST on Friday at fremantlefc.com.au.

The tactical substitute for Sunday will be confirmed one hour before the bounce.
