Fremantle have confirmed their final team of 23 to play Brisbane at Optus Stadium on Friday night, with midfielder/defender Corey Wagner returning to the side.

Isaiah Dudley has been omitted, with the small forward named as an emergency.

Wagner last played for Fremantle in the Club’s thrilling one-point win over Collingwood in Round 19 and made a positive return to football via Peel Thunder last week after overcoming heel soreness that sidelined him for two weeks.

Wagner collected 20 disposals and two tackles in managed minutes in the WAFL clash.

The 28-year-old joins Murphy Reid, Jaeger O’Meara, Nat Fyfe and Bailey Banfield on the interchange bench.

The game will mark the first time Fremantle legend Nat Fyfe takes to the field following the announcement of his retirement earlier in the week.

Fyfe will line up for the 246th time in his career and the game will be his final home and away match played at Optus Stadium.

The Club will be handing out 10,000 Forever Fyfe posters outside Optus Stadium pre-game to the Purple Army, all thanks to Woodside and Bankwest – so make sure you head to the ground early for your best chance to secure one.

Michael Frederick will also celebrate his 100th game on Friday night, taken with pick no.61 in the 2019 National Draft and bursting onto the AFL scene with his pace and goal nous.

Brandon Walker and Oscar McDonald have been named as the other two emergencies alongside Dudley.

The tactical substitute will be named one hour before the bounce.

Bounce down for Friday night’s clash is at 6.35pm WST.

The clash will be broadcast live into WA and Queensland on Channel 7 as well as nationally on Fox Sports 503, and streamed live on Kayo and 7plus.
