Fremantle have confirmed their final team of 23 to take on the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium on Sunday evening, with Hayden Young returning to the side after missing the past two games with a groin injury.

Nathan O’Driscoll has been omitted, with the winger named as an emergency.

Young has played seven games for the season due to injury but will return to the midfield after progressing through his rehab successfully.

Prior to being subbed out during the Round 21 clash with Carlton, Young claimed the Glendinning-Allan medal in the Round 20 RAC Derby with an impressive 23 disposal, three goal performance across three quarters.

Oscar McDonald and Brandon Walker join O’Driscoll as emergencies for the clash.

Jye Amiss, Bailey Banfield, Neil Erasmus, Nat Fyfe and Murphy Reid have been named on the interchange bench, with one of the five to be confirmed as the tactical substitute one hour before bounce.

Sean Darcy, Caleb Serong and Andy Brayshaw round out Fremantle’s midfield alongside Young, while Jaeger O’Meara and Corey Wagner have been named on wings.

A win or draw on Sunday would guarantee finals football with a spot in the top eight, while a loss would see Freo relying on other results to determine whether they play finals for the first time since 2022.

Bouncedown between Fremantle and the Western Bulldogs is 3.15pm EST at Marvel Stadium.

The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy, and streamed live on Kayo, Binge, and 7plus from 3.00pm EST
