Fremantle’s AAMI Community Series Match has been confirmed, with the team set to take on the Adelaide Crows at Rushton Park in Mandurah on Saturday 28 February.

Fremantle will also play West Coast in an AFL Match Simulation, with the date, time and venue still to be confirmed by the AFL.

AAMI Community Series Matches will take on the following format:

• 4 quarters of 20 mins plus time on (as per AFL Premiership Season)
• Squad of 30 players; 18 on field, 8 interchange and 4 Emergencies. Minimum
of 4 players on the Interchange Bench during the match at any time.
• No Interchange Cap.
• Full panel of umpires appointed by the AFL.

All matches will be broadcast live on Foxtel and Kayo and fully ticketed for fans to attend.

Information regarding tickets for the AAMI Community Series will be communicated in January of the new year.

Also, as part of the pre-season, Western Australia will take on Victoria on Saturday February 14 at Optus Stadium as part of AFL Origin’s return.

As announced in November, Freo’s Shai Bolton will represent Western Australia, while senior coach Justin Longmuir will be an assistant coach.

More player announcements for the AFL Origin teams are expected later this week.
