Fremantle will take on Melbourne on Saturday 21 March at Optus Stadium. The clash commences at 4.35pm WST.

The game will mark Freo’s first official home game of the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership season, with members and fans encouraged to make sure they are aware of the changes to how games are accessed at Optus Stadium in 2026.
 
Tickets in the Ticketmaster or Fremantle Dockers app will now feature rotating barcodes that refresh every 15 seconds meaning screenshots will no longer work when scanning at the gates.
 
Tickets saved to your Apple or Google Wallet with now feature an NFC tag which acts the same as tap and go contactless payment. Each gate at Optus Stadium has been fitted out with both touch points, meaning that your digital ticket is now safer and easier to access when saved to your phone Wallet.

Tickets for the match are available through Ticketmaster, starting from just $39.

Transport Information  

Your footy ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours either side the game. Simply show your event ticket to the driver or inspector if asked.

For weekend games, direct inbound trains on the Yanchep and Mandurah lines, in addition to the Suburban Event Bus Network will operate to get you to and from games. Direct trains on the Fremantle Line will also operate after the game to get you home.

Perth Park Update - Access to Optus Stadium
The WA Government is delivering Perth Park, Perth’s premier entertainment and sporting precinct, bringing Optus Stadium, Belmont Park Racecourse, Crown Perth and the State Tennis Centre together with exciting new facilities.

Site establishment works have now started. During the construction period from February 2026, the park will be temporarily closed to the public.

Path users, people walking and riding from the south should use Camfield Drive or Victoria Park Drive between Optus Stadium and Crown Perth.

  • Use public transport

We’re setting the tone for a massive afternoon of footy with a live performance from Aussie hip-hop heavyweight and hometown legend, Drapht. Get in early to Optus Stadium for the perfect pre-game party with Drapht at 3.30pm up at our Ressie’s Bar.

Keep an ear out at half time for our feature performance with WAM award-nominated songwriter Charlie Youngson. Charlie is a local Perth boy hailing from Fremantle, whose sound consists of fast-paced guitar work, silky vocals and a captivating blues-folk blend.

Purple Playground (Southern Oval)
Come down to Southern Oval located in front of the Camfield and bounce around on the Inflatable Obstacle Course, try your shot at goals with the Freo Super Goals or take a hanger at the Inflatable Marking Spot.

Be sure to also get yourself tatted up with a Freo airbrush tattoo or come and test your bean bag slinging skills with our Freo Footy themed corn hole boards!

101 Oh What Fun! (Near Lobby 101) 
Located at Lobby 101, 101 Oh What Fun is your destination for fun outside of the footy. 

  • Airbrush Tattoo: If you missed out on an airbrush tattoo before the game, be sure to stop by and get some purple paint.
  • Craft Workshop: Try your creative side with the Freo Craft Workshop, this week decorate and make your own badge. Draw your favourite player or even decorate their jumper number to wear as you cheer them on each week!
  • Player Visit: Freo players will be stopping by at half-time as well, so be sure to catch them for an autograph or selfie.

131 Even More Fun! (Western Poddium)
Western Podium behind section 131, in between the City View Cafe and Goodwood Restaurant.

  • Wheelchair Footy: WA All Abilities Wheelchair football 'come and try' and inclusion specialists will be on-hand at the Western Podium pre-game fan zone to discuss participation opportunities in adaptive football for people living with disabilities. Wheelchair Footy will be running from when stadium gates open until the end of half time.
  • Reaction Game: Test your reaction speed! This fun and addictive game that challenges you to try and catch as many of the falling batons as they randomly drop from above.
  • Soft Play: Does your little one need a tap-out from sitting down? Let them burn off some energy at the soft play zone, with multiple bits to sit and climb about or even jump in the ball pit! With mats as the floor, it is a safe and fun way to keep your toddlers entertained at the footy.

Pick your Pump up Tune thanks to Macca's 
Fans will have the chance to vote for their favourite song to be played at half-time of Saturday's game. Thanks to Macca's, one lucky entrant will also take home a match ball from this weekend.  
 
Mac for a Match  
Macca’s will be offering all Freo ticket holders and members who are in WA a free Big Mac on the Monday following a win, home or away. 
 
Fremantle fans can simply show their digital game day ticket or digital membership to claim their Big Mac for FREE.  
 
Bankwest Best Seats in the House  
At three-quarter time, be in your seats and have your phone ready for your chance to win one of three double passes into Bankwest’s best seats in the house!

Optus Stadium Restaurants and Catering 

The City View Cafe will be OPEN. However, the Goodwood restaurant will be CLOSED.  
  
The Freo Clubhouse   
The Freo Clubhouse in River View Rooms and the Sky View Lounge will be open for this round, however, you will need to show your ticket stating room access to receive entry. 
 
Sky View Underscreen Bar will be closed for a private function, pre, during and post game.

  • No cloaking facilities are available. Don't bring bulky items.
