Fremantle players Bradley Hill and Nat Fyfe have been awarded votes in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award following Freo’s 14-point loss against Melbourne on Saturday at the MCG.

Hill polled four votes after picking up 31 disposals, 24 of which were by foot, and five clearances.

Hill was instrumental in Fremantle’s ball movement throughout the day, racking up a total 474 metres gained, second only to Ed Langdon, along with a game-high seven rebound 50’s.

Fyfe polled one vote to round off the list, also finishing with 31 disposals. Fyfe had 16 contested possessions and eight clearances after what was a tough midfield battle all day.

The Fremantle captain currently sits sixth in the overall standings with 54 votes, trailing leader Tim Kelly on 69 votes.
