The Fremantle Dockers and Brent Guerra have agreed to part ways with the development coach not being offered a contract extension for 2020.

The former Hawthorn premiership player joined Fremantle as an assistant coach in 2016 before transitioning to a development coaching role in 2017.

“Brent and his young family are returning home to Victoria, where he will pursue other opportunities,” general manager of football Peter Bell said.

“Brent has played an important role in progressing the development of our young and emerging players and we thank him for his valuable contribution during his four years at Fremantle.

“We also wish Brent and his family the very best for the future and the next phase of his career.”
