Eight Fremantle-listed players were in action in Peel’s two-point loss to Claremont on Saturday at David Grays Arena.

Senior development coach Marc Webb runs through how they fared.

Travis Colyer
Played on ball for the game, he had 26 possessions, nine tackles and 11 clearances in a really strong performance on ball. He pressured, chased and was clean around the contest and gave some really good drive from the centre of the ground.

Sam Sturt
Played forward and on the wing. He ended with 17 possessions and a clearance for the game. He showed good aerial ability, taking some marks in the last quarter and giving Peel some drive inside 50.

Brett Bewley
Played on the wing for the game. His overlap run was a feature, as well as his workrate throughout the contest. He kicked a big goal in the final quarter to help get Peel back into the game.

Cam McCarthy
Played forward for the game. He ended up with three marks, 15 possessions, two goals and his pressure around the forward 50 was much improved. He had six tackles and gave Peel some scoring opportunities with his one-on-one efforts.

Hugh Dixon
Played forward and in the ruck. Again, his follow-up in the ruck was a feature, his pressure around the contest was good and he was able to hit the scoreboard with a goal. 

Dillon O’Reilly
Played back on Tom Lee for the game in a good matchup. Lee ended up with two goals but Dillon was good in his one-on-ones. He was also able to take a couple of good contested marks and he set up some good rebound from defence.

Hayden Balantyne
Played forward for the game. Hayden showed his usual pressure in the forward line, he was able to intercept and help turn the ball over. He ended up with two goals and 10 possessions.

Scott Jones
Played in the ruck for the game. He started really strongly in the first half with some big marks from around the ground. He ended up with 33 hitouts in a competitive performance.
