Fremantle have made three changes to their side ahead of Western Derby 63 at Optus Stadium on Friday night.
Midfielders Jaeger O’Meara (ankle) and Hayden Young (illness) will join key defender Brennan Cox (managed) on the sidelines for the clash.
Veteran defender Oscar McDonald will come into the side for his 100th AFL game in place of Cox, Shai Bolton returns to the engine room after being managed last round, while Corey Wagner’s impressive WAFL form has earned him a recall.
Hugh Davies, Chris Scerri and Brandon Walker are named as the emergencies.
McDonald’s journey to 100 AFL games has spanned three clubs and 11 seasons. The Victorian will play his 14th game in purple having joined Freo after an outstanding 2024 in the VFL, following stints with Melbourne and Carlton.
The 30-year-old has been named in a back pocket alongside skipper Alex Pearce and Heath Chapman.
Wagner has played 13 AFL games in 2026, last featuring in the Round 13 win over North Melbourne in Bunbury. His experience and leadership for Peel Thunder in his last two WAFL matches has been a standout, while off-field the 29-year-old welcomed second son, Sonny, with wife Michaela last weekend.
Wagner is named on the interchange bench with Mason Cox, Isaiah Dudley, Neil Erasmus and Karl Worner.
Bolton returns to play his fourth Western Derby, lining up in the middle with Luke Jackson, Caleb Serong and Andrew Brayshaw.
Joining McDonald as milestone men, fellow defender Worner, and midfielder Natan O'Driscoll will both play their 50th AFL game on Friday night.
The clash between Fremantle and West Coast will commence at 6.10pm (WST) and will be broadcast on Channel 7 and Fox Sports 503, and streamed on 7plus and Kayo.
