Fremantle mid/forward Murphy Reid has been named on the wing of the 22under22 team, presented by Intrepid Travel.
Led by fan vote, Reid shone with a whopping 81% of team selections to edge out Hawthorn’s Nick Watson as the most selected player by 1%.
Earlier this month, Reid was named in the initial squad alongside fellow teammate Neil Erasmus, before a fan vote decided the final team.
Following on from Reid’s brilliant debut season in 2025 where he earned Rising Star honours as well his inaugural place in the 22under22 team, the 20-year-old has backed up his performances playing all but one game in 2026.
Reid’s selection marks the second successive season the 20-year-old has been voted into the final team.
Reid has been named alongside Brisbane’s Will Ashcroft in the centre and Carlton’s Jagga Smith on the opposite wing.
