Fremantle defender Jordan Clark is all eyes on the prize despite coming off the back of consecutive All Australian selections and approaching his milestone 150th AFL game against the Hawks. 

Speaking at his Monday morning media conference, Clark said it is all about the team over his individual milestones and accolades. 

“To be honest, it's something I haven't even thought about. I'm just more excited to play,” Clark said. 

“I don't really draw into that too much. I don't play for individual awards, and to be honest, I feel like I'm undeserving of it sometimes.

“It's not something that flatters me or anything like that. 

“I don't think that's the proudest thing I can achieve, and I never set out to do that when I got drafted. 

“I wanted to win a premiership. To be honest, I haven't really reflected on it (his second All Australian selection), and people talk about it more than I do, and more than the players do inside the four walls.” 

On Thursday night’s blockbuster, Clark said the team would look to improve on the first-half woes displayed in their Round 9 encounter with the Hawks, despite grinding out a gritty comeback win. 

“Last time we played Hawthorn, we got a lot wrong as a group,” Clark said. 

“It was probably the way we were moving the ball, the way we were defending the ground, which hung our key backs out to dry.

“It's probably more of a group thing on the learnings we can take from that game last time. 

“We know Hawthorn have got some clear strengths, and Jack Gunston's one of many that they've got in their forward line. 

“Nick Watson, Jack Ginnivan, Dylan Moore and Connor McDonald, there are threats all over that ground.” 

Fremantle and Hawthorn’s sold-out Qualifying Final will commence at 6.10pm WST at Optus Stadium.
