Fremantle have confirmed five changes ahead of Thursday night’s Qualifying Final against Hawthorn at Optus Stadium.
After being managed in Fremantle’s Round 24 clash with Carlton, Jye Amiss, Heath Chapman, Murphy Reid and Sam Switkowski return to the side, along with re-called defender Brandon Walker.
Key back Brennan Cox is sidelined with a calf injury, while Bailey Banfield, Judd McVee, Toby Murray and Chris Scerri have all been omitted.
Amiss is named in a forward pocket alongside All Australian Josh Treacy and Pat Voss, while Switkowski will line up on a half-forward flank.
Chapman will start on a half-back flank next to Luke Ryan and Karl Worner.
New All Australian Reid and Walker have been named on the bench, with Mason Cox, Isaiah Dudley and Nathan O'Driscoll.
Scerri, Hugh Davies and Corey Wagner are named as emergencies for the game.
Walker hasn’t played an AFL match since the Club’s season-opener against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1.
Dashing dual All Australian defender Jordan Clark, who is named in a back pocket, will play his 150th AFL game and just the fourth finals game of his career.
Thursday night’s winning team will book a spot in the first Preliminary Final and will face either the Adelaide Crows, Western Bulldogs, Sydney Swans or Brisbane Lions, depending on results.
The loser on Thursday night will play the winner of Carlton vs Geelong in the first Semi Final next week.
Thursday night’s game will commence at 6.10pm WST and will be broadcast live on Channel 7 from 6.10pm, on Fox Footy from 5pm, streamed on 7plus from 5.30pm and on Kayo and Binge from 5pm.
