Fremantle Director of Performance Adam Beard has given an update on the squad’s health ahead of the Club’s Preliminary Final clash with Sydney at the SCG on Friday night.
UNAVAILABLE:
Sam Sturt (hamstring) and Ollie Murphy (calf):
Sturt had surgery on his hamstring, so that'll progress through the timelines for that. Ollie, who has a calf injury, would be about two to three weeks which will see his season finish.
TEST:
Brennan Cox (calf):
He's got a lot of strength back in the calf. He did a really good session on Saturday, and full main train today, so he'll be a test to play
Sean Darcy (knee):
He initially had swelling on the knee and couldn't get that range of motion back. He's got that back, so he'll be a test to play.
Jaeger O'Meara (ankle):
He didn't finish that game (Peel Thunder’s semi-final against Claremont) and he's progressed really well. He’s completed full main train today and he'll be a test to play
Aiden Riddle (foot) and Adam Sweid (quad):
Pleasingly, they both did the full training today, so they will also be a test to play.
Brandon Walker (ankle):
Walker's got his speed, agility and change of direction all back. He was a full train today, so he'll be a test play.
