Fremantle have confirmed two changes for Saturday’s clash with the Bulldogs at Cockburn ARC Oval.
All Australian ruck Mim Strom and midfielder Aisling McCarthy will return from injury for Fremantle’s meeting with the Dogs. Strom has been named in the ruck, while McCarthy will start on the bench alongside Georgie Brisbane, Noa McNaughton, Orlagh Lally, and Madi Scanlon.
Emma O’Driscoll and Tunisha Kikoak come out of the side due to injury. Lily Johnson, Mon Bessen and Laura Pugh have been named as emergencies.
Strom returns after a week out with a shoulder injury sustained in Freo’s away win over Richmond at Ikon Park in Round 4. The 24-year-old was a late withdrawal from last weekend’s clash with Essendon, ending her 78 consecutive games streak.
Round 6’s home game against the Western Bulldogs will also see the return of star midfielder Aisling McCarthy after missing three matches with a knee issue.
Saturday’s clash with the Bulldogs will be captain Ange Stannett’s 75th AFLW game, earning the skipper life membership at the Club.
Saturday’s clash will commence at 1:05pm WST at Cockburn ARC Oval, Perth and will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and 7mate from 1.00pm WST, as well as streamed live on Kayo, Binge and 7plus.
