Match Day Information: Round 6 v Western Bulldogs

Attention Purple Army, here is all the info you need ahead of the Club’s action-packed weekend, with three huge games of footy featuring your favourite Freo players. 

Friday 18 September – Fremantle v Sydney Swans 

Kicking things off on Friday, our AFL side will face Sydney at the SCG in the second Preliminary Final.  

The Preliminary Final will commence at 7.40pm AEST at the SCG, with the winner of the clash booking their spot in the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final. 

With the Prelim Final officially sold out, Freo fans not making the trip to New South Wales for the game - but still wanting to be among the action and fellow Freo faithful - are encouraged to head down to one of the Club’s official Anchor Venues. 

What’s an Anchor Venue? They are the official Fremantle Dockers away game pubs, Thanks to our partnership with Pirate Life.

Saturday 19 September – Fremantle v Western Bulldogs 

Where: Cockburn ARC Oval 
When: 1.05pm WST 

Our girls are coming off back-to-back wins and will look to keep that momentum marching forward as they approach the midway point of the AFLW season. 

Fremantle currently sit seventh on the ladder and are coming up against the ninth-placed Western Bulldogs, so banking another four points at home will go a long way to contending come season’s end.  

Tickets for the match are just $15 for adults, while juniors (under 14) are free. Make sure you avoid the queues by purchasing your ticket online before the game.

Freo fans are encouraged to get on down to show that one-club passion and rally behind the girls at our Cockburn headquarters for the 2026 NAB AFLW season, in a move set to support future growth and elite standards for the program.

To celebrate a huge weekend of Freo footy, we'll have a heap of incredible prizes up for grabs for anyone who attends Saturday's AFLW game, with prize draws at Quarter Time, Half Time and Full Time.

Sunday 20 September – Peel Thunder v Claremont 

Where: Optus Stadium 
When: 1.10pm WST 

To cap off a big weekend, our WAFL-aligned club Peel Thunder will play in the 2026 WAFL Grand Final. 

General admission tickets start from $35. 

A number of Fremantle players will be eligible for selection in the WAFL Grand Final and will be pulling on teal in a bid to secure Peel Thunder’s fourth premiership.
