Fremantle have made three changes to the team that will take on ladder leaders North Melbourne at Arden Street Oval on Sunday 11 October.

As confirmed by the Club on Thursday, midfielder Mon Bessen will make her AFLW debut, named on the interchange bench while experienced pair Laura Pugh and Madi Scanlon return to the side to face the Roos.

Defenders Pugh and Scanlon have been named in defence to bolster the backline, with Aoife Healy confirmed out of the line-up due to delayed concussion, while Orlagh Lally and Holly Egan have both been omitted.

Alongside Bessen on the interchange bench are Indi West, Noa McNaughton, Lily Johnson and Gabby O’Sullivan.

Bessen was selected by Fremantle in the 2025 AFLW draft with pick 40, the  South Australian relocating west for the 2026 season.

Scanlon returns from a hamstring injury after taking part in a scrimmage last weekend, while Pugh will play her first game since the Round 2 win over Collingwood.
