Three Fremantle players have been awarded votes in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award following Freo's clash with Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.

Captain Nat Fyfe polled four votes for his 32 disposal and eight tackle performance.

Key defender Alex Pearce earned three votes for his excellent shut down role on Adelaide's Tex Walker.

Luke Ryan rounded out the votes for Freo with two after picking up 34 disposals at 88.2 per cent efficiency.

Fyfe is tied for 10th in the overall standings with 27 votes, trailing leader Marcus Bentempelli on 43 votes.
