Freo’s Scott Jones was handed the hardest task in football in his AFL debut, teaming up with Michael Apeness against Brodie Grundy and Mason Cox the last time these two teams met at the MCG. Collingwood won the hitouts that day by 37 in a 61-point win. This time around, Rory Lobb is set to take on Grundy in a battle of two of the AFL’s more mobile ruckmen.

76.8 intercepts
Fremantle rank third for intercepts in the AFL with an average of 76.8 per game. Luke Ryan leads the way for Freo in the stat, averaging 9.6 per game, the most in the AFL.

Collingwood rank 10th in the AFL with an average of 72.4 per game, led by Darcy Moore (8.5 per game) who is set to return to the Collingwood lineup from an ankle injury.

As a duo, Nat Fyfe and David Mundy are currently having their most productive season together in the AFL.

Fyfe and Mundy are averaging 56 disposals per game in 2019, which currently ranks better than their previous best average of 55.7 in 2015.

The pair also average 32.5 contested possessions per game, which is higher than their pervious best of 30.9 in 2015.
