She’s an Australian Olympian, a Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist, and now Kim Mickle is on the cusp of becoming a NAB AFL Women’s player.

Mickle was named in Fremantle’s squad of 24 for Sunday’s clash against the Brisbane Lions, joining Kelly Clinch in the line-up, with the potential debutants listed across half-back.

Ebony Antonio will miss Sunday's game after being given a one-match suspension for her bump on the Western Bulldogs’ Jess Gardner in round one.

Entry into the match is free however due to limited capacity at the venue, members and fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid dissappointment.
