What is the Fremantle Dockers Foundation?
The Fremantle Dockers Foundation was established to support the important on and off field work of the Fremantle Football Club.
It aims to engage and support the community through strong alliances with key charity partners and a focus on the club’s corporate social responsibility.
Who are ‘Friends of the Foundation’?
‘Friends of the Foundation’ are the clubs aligned charity and community partners.
The club has both principal and associate level ‘Friends of the Foundation’.
The club’s principal ‘Friends of the Foundation’ are Starlight Children’s Foundation and Starkick All Abilities Football Club.
The Associate ‘Friends of the Foundation’ sit alongside the principal partners and are reviewed annually by the club.
How does my charity/community group benefit from becoming a ‘Friend of the Foundation’?
The Foundation will support one signature event or campaign for each organisation it selects in 2020 as an Associate partner.
Each associate partner will also receive:
Signed jumper for fundraising purposes
10 tickets to a Fremantle home game in the 2020 season
Recognition on fremantlefc.com.au
Use of the Fremantle Dockers brand and/or use of a Fremantle Dockers Player ambassador
Important information to note before applying
Player involvement can only occur between December 2019 and August 2020
Consideration must be given to the 2020 AFL fixture
Players training and playing schedules during the AFL season will dictate player availability as any football commitments are a priority
How do I become a Friend of the Foundation?
Applications are now open to become an Associate ‘Friend of the Foundation’.
Organisations that are interested in applying are required to identify a signature event, campaign or cause they believe the Foundation can help raise awareness for.
Applications close on Friday 13 December, 2019.
All applicants will be notified of the club's final decision by Friday 20 December, 2019.
