The Saints have rested star midfielder Jack Steven for Sunday's game

Young gun Hunter Clark will get his first taste of senior football in 2019 against the Dockers on Sunday.

With star midfielder Jack Steven managed due to an interrupted pre-season, Clark got the call-up after two impressive outings in the VFL.

The classy 20-year-old pieced together an impressive pre-season at RSEA Park, but a late form lapse saw him miss out on senior selection in Rounds 1 and 2.

Clark has been an emergency in both games to date; his newfound tank warranting extra midfield time, while can also be used off half-back.
