Brett Bewley has won his second 2km time trial of the pre-season as the emerging midfielder continues to impress this summer.

The group was welcomed back from a three-week break with the run, which was held ahead of their first main training session of the new year. 

The top-five was exactly the same as the time-trial held on 20 November, with Bewley coming in ahead of second-placed Andrew Brayshaw, with Griffin Logue in third. 

New recruit Blake Acres set the pace early and led for the first lap before finishing fourth ahead of Ethan Hughes.
