Avery was born at the weekend, both mum and dad are doing well.
Fellow teammate and father, Michael Walters was one of the first to know, receiving a text from the expecting father before the birth.
“He said it’s all happening and I just told him that his life was going to change from here,” Walters said.
“He will still be the same old Hayden on the field, just a bit more grown up away from it.”
