Mellington was the youngest player selected in the 2010 AFL Draft after playing for the Murray Bushrangers in the TAC Cup.
The 18-year-old tells ‘The Mayne Minutes’ about his draft day experience and training in the sweltering heat at Fremantle, which he says is “intense”.
“Pre-season’s been pretty solid - the heat gets to you a bit at training,” he tells Mayne.
Mellington also reveals to FTV viewers about his efforts to stack on the kilos, living with his host family in WA and his goals and ambitions for this year and beyond.
