Fremantle players Nat Fyfe and Connor Blakely have been awarded votes in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award following Freo's clash with Carlton at Optus Stadium on Sunday.

Captain Nat Fyfe polled three votes for his 29 disposal and eight-mark performance.

Having 16 contested possessions and kicking a goal, Fyfe was one of Freo’s most important players in their narrow four-point loss to the Blues.

On-baller Connor Blakely polled one vote after finishing with 31 possessions, his best performance since returning from a high-grade hamstring injury in round 9.

With 57 votes from 15 rounds, Fyfe currently sits equal sixth on the AFLCA leader board trailing leader Tim Kelly (78 votes).
