Scans on ruckman Sean Darcy’s injured left knee on Monday have cleared him of any damage to his anterior cruciate ligament and posterior cruciate ligament.

Darcy left the ground midway through the third quarter of Saturday’s clash with Brisbane after landing awkwardly following a ruck contest.

The 22-year-old sat out the remainder of the game.

“Sean had scans on his injured knee today, with the initial report indicating that there was no damage to either his PCL or ACL,” general manager football Peter Bell said.

“There is some soft tissue damage to the back of the knee, which will require treatment, but Sean is doing well and we expect him to be able to train relatively soon.”
