Jesse Hogan and Stephen Hill celebrate a goal in Fremantle's round 13 game against Port Adelaide during 2019

Fremantle have three big inclusions for this Sunday’s clash with Port Adelaide at Metricon Stadium, bringing in Jesse Hogan, Stephen Hill and round one NAB AFL Rising Star nominee Sam Sturt.

This Sunday will mark 365 days, a year exactly, since Hogan last played for Fremantle.

Hogan trained exceptionally well during Thursday night’s session at Metricon Stadium, taking a number of strong contested marks despite the wet conditions.

He has been named up front as a tall target, freeing versatile forward Rory Lobb to take on the primary ruck role left by Sean Darcy, who comes out of the team due to a knee injury.

Defender Taylin Duman and forward Bailey Banfield are Fremantle’s other outs, with the pair omitted.

Hill comes back in to play his 207th AFL game. The 30-year-old has endured two-injury interrupted seasons, playing 16 games since 2018.

Famous for his exploits on the wing, Hill is likely resume his role at half back, where he will bring his experience, leadership and skill to a young back line.

Sturt is another exciting addition to Freo’s forward line. The quick and athletic forward shone in his round one debut, kicking three goals against Essendon.

The 20-year-old will look to cause problems for the Power defence with his ability to take strong marks and crumb the ball in what may be a battle at ground level in the wet.

The clash will also mark the 100th game milestone for Travis Colyer.

The former Bomber will play his 13th game for Fremantle after playing 87 games for Essendon between 2010 and 2018.

Defender Nathan Wilson has been named as an emergency after being a late withdrawal in round two due to a back spasm.

Forward Bailey Banfield and midfielders Caleb Serong and Connor Blakely have also been named as emergencies.

Bouncedown for Sunday’s clash is at 4.10pm (WST), with the game broadcast live into Perth on Channel 7Mate and nationally on Foxtel. The match will also be streamed live via Kayo and AFL Live Pass.
