The 2012 Doig Medallist has fully recovered from a torn pectoral muscle sustained during a training session at Fremantle Oval in December.
He was listed as a test on the club’s injury list on Tuesday with a calf injury, but the 28-year-old appears ready to go.
Despite declaring himself available for selection earlier this week, Matthew Pavlich has been left out because of the imminent arrival of his first child.
The Freo captain had undergone hip and Achilles tendon surgery in the off-season.
Michael Barlow will be rested after an impressive start to his pre-season campaign, while Stephen Hill will sit out as a precaution after an arm complaint from last Saturday’s trial match in Adelaide.

Michael Walters has also been named after he was cleared of any damage to his ankle, as were David Mundy and Nat Fyfe, who senior coach Ross Lyon said would play out the rest of the pre-season competitive matches.
“They’ll just go from here, they need to catch up on some minutes, so they’ll just go,” he said.
Lyon said the club would continue to balance the blooding of young players with game-time for senior players who need minutes in their legs ahead of round 1.
“We’re keen to continue to get minutes where we can into (Tom) Sheridan, (Lachie) Neale and (Hayden) Crozier, and those types, to continue to build their experience,” he said.
“Everyone’s going to play at some point, so it’s really important that everyone is capable of executing their role when they come in.”
