Three Fremantle players have been fined by the AFL’s Match Review Officer following Fremantle’s clash with the Gold Coast Suns on Saturday.

Matt Taberner, Luke Ryan and debutant Caleb Serong have all been charged with engaging in a melee during the second quarter of the match.

Both Taberner and Serong have been handed a $750 sanction as a first offence, which can be reduced to $500 with an early plea.

Luke Ryan was handed a $2000 sanction as a third offence, down to $1250 with an early plea.
