Adelaide will test star forward Kurt Tippett later this week ahead of Saturday's clash with Fremantle at AAMI Stadium.

Tippett has sustained a series of concussions in recent weeks and has missed the Crows past two games. He has been training but  club’s medical team will decide if he is right to play.

David Mackay (broken toe) is also a chance to return this week after missing one match, while Jason Porplyzia, who copped a heavy knock in the first half against Essendon before being subbed off, has not been ruled out yet.

Ricky Henderson (ankle), Andy Otten (knee) and Brodie Martin (hamstring) are all hoping to be ready to play later this season.

Adelaide has a light training session on Tuesday.
