On Thursday 28 July, 20 union representatives and ME Bank staff participated in a Customer Promotion Day at Fremantle Oval.

ME Bank, a proud Gold Level Sponsor of the Fremantle Dockers, invited a number of key clients and guests to participate in the day’s activities, with all guests in attendance walking away with a goodie bag full of ME Bank & Fremantle Dockers’ prizes.

The day included presentations from Fremantle Dockers CEO Steve Rosich on the synergies between business and sport, a presentation from the club’s General Manager of Commercial Partners, Scott Gooch and Assistant Coach Barry Mitchell.

But the highlight for many was the opportunity to participate in a football training session on Fremantle Oval conducted by Senior Coach Mark Harvey and players Kepler Bradley and Ryan Crowley.

Mark, Ryan and Kepler put the ME Bank staff and guests through a gruelling one hour session which included tackling, goal kicking, skills activities and footy games.

Harvey completed the session by participating in a goal kicking competition, with the lucky winner receiving double passes to the Fremantle Dockers v Hawthorn match on Saturday 30 July. Luckily the weather held off and a winner was finally determined.

ME Bank Business Development Manager, Retail Sales James Moore said it was a fantastic afternoon of activities.

“Many of our guests have never tried Aussie Rules before and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and look forward to putting into practice some of the skills they learnt today,” he said.
