Sandi lends 16s a big helping hand
'Spider' is offering his expertise to tomorrow's stars
A family friend of coach Robert Wiley, ‘Spider’ offered to share his experience with the budding young stars.
He is working closely with the squad’s midfield and ruck departments.
Sandilands said the opportunity to give something back to the game was rewarding.
“You learn a lot over the time you play footy and it’s always nice to be able to pass that on to the younger ones coming through,” he said.
“And it’s also a good way to enhance my coaching skills.”
Sandilands will continue to assist the team, which trains at Wesley College in South Perth, until the national championships later this year.
