Training report: Wednesday 1 August
The players had a brief session on a wet Fremantle Oval this morning ahead of the Carlton Mid Derby
About 20 players, most of whom played against Port Adelaide last Sunday, took to the track for the brief skills session.
One of those who trained was Nick Lower, who was in fine form a few rounds back before coming out of the team because of concussion.
Nat Fyfe trained, but captain Matthew Pavlich and David Mundy just ran a few early laps.
Ruckman Jon Griffin, who appeared to sustain a knee injury late in the game against the Power, only ran a few laps.
Fremantle’s main training session before Saturday’s game will be on Thursday morning.
