Freo sing the team song with the Starlight Stars after their win in round three in 2019

Fremantle are proud to announce that the annual Starlight Purple Haze Game will go ahead in season 2020 when Freo take on GWS in round 14 on Saturday 29 August at Optus Stadium.

Fremantle’s opponents from rounds 14 to 18 were confirmed by the AFL on Friday.

The Starlight Purple Haze clash will be the 18th consecutive edition of the annual game that raises funds to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families.

Since 2003, Fremantle members, supporters and players have raised more than $1.5 million for the Starlight Children's Foundation.

While the Starlight Purple Haze Game is traditionally played as the opening home game of the season, this year’s edition will be Freo’s final regular season game at Optus Stadium for 2020.

Tickets will go on sale in the week of the event and further information will be communicated to members via email and on fremantlefc.com.au.
