Fremantle star Michael Walters will make his return when Freo take on Carlton at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.

Walters comes in for injured forward Travis Colyer, who has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Young forward Liam Henry has shown he’s closer to a debut, named as an emergency alongside Tom North, Jesse Hogan and Tobe Watson.

Walters is expected to add significant firepower to Freo, with senior coach Justin Longmuir saying Walters would alternate between the forward line with captain Nat Fyfe.

“We see him adding something to our midfield but we’re probably still lacking that final bit to our game, finishing off our good work from the midfield,” Longmuir said.

“We got the ball in our forward line a bit more last week, we just didn’t hit the scoreboard enough. I think (Walters) adds a lot of polish and he and Fyfey will split their time.”

Meanwhile Carlton have made two changes. Harry McKay and Josh Honey come in for the injured Jack Martin and Marc Pittonet.

The game will also be Andrew Brayshaw’s 50th and Rory Lobb’s 100th, with Lobb playing 74 games for GWS and 25 games for Fremantle to date.

Bouncedown for the clash is at 6.10pm and will be broadcast live into WA on Fox Footy and 7mate.

It can also be streamed live on Kayo and AFL Live Pass.
