Bianca Webb will return for Fremantle's Indigenous round clash against Brisbane.

Fremantle will head into Saturday’s crucial clash with Brisbane at Fremantle Oval with one change to their line-up.

Senior coach Trent Cooper has brought in young and talented midfielder Bianca Webb for the game that pits the first-placed Fremantle against the third-placed Brisbane.

Webb replaces defender Evie Gooch, who has been managed to get on top of a minor back issue.

Mikayla Hyde and Katie-Jayne Grieve have been named as the emergencies.

While Cooper said Webb deserved her spot after an impressive performance for Swan Districts in the WAFLW, he said it was hard to bring Gooch out of the team.

“Evie Gooch has been battling a bit of back tightness and not being at her best because of that,” Cooper said.

“We’re giving her a week off to manage that and, hopefully, get that right so she can press for selection again.

“Bianca Webb was unlucky to come out the previous week, she played really well for Swan Districts at the weekend and she’ll come back in.”
