Fremantle have swept the voting in the AFLCA player of the year award following their 31-point win against GWS on Sunday at Optus Stadium.

Evergreen midfield David Mundy polled a perfect 10 votes after his 35 disposals and six clearances, setting up Fremantle's forward line on a number of occasions with his 15 score involvements.

For just the seventh time in his career, Mundy had more than 20 disposals to half time, putting into perspective his dominance around the ground early in the match.

Midfielder Andrew Brayshaw polled eight votes following his 32-disposals, two goals and six tackles, commanding Freo's midfield alongside David Mundy for the entire game.

The young gun provided one of the highlights of the game when he sidestepped two Giants and snapped a magnificent goal on his right foot from 35m out.

Lachie Schultz kicked three goals for the match earning himself five votes, working up the ground throughout the game to also pickup 20 disposals and eight marks.

Adam Cerra continued his impressive start to the season with 28 disposals and five clearances earning himself five votes, also helping to set up Freo's forwards with 10 score involvements.

Making a return to Fremantle's best 22 this season, small forward Sam Switkowski was back to his best, kicking two goals to earn two votes. The 24-year old provided relentless pressure all day with his 17 pressure acts and three tackles, while also showing his aerial ability with six intercept marks, the equal second-most for the game.
