12.30pm – Membership services available at gate's B, C and E

1.00pm – Gates open

1.55 – 2.10pm - On-field warm-up

2.15 approx – First kick of the day

FREO FOOTY FESTIVAL

Be there for the Freo Footy Festival when we take on Hawthorn! With plenty of entertainment and activities for the whole family to enjoy, there's no better way to spend your Sunday.

 

There will be plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy including;

 

  • Roaming bubble blowing stilt walkers
  • Airbrush Tattoos (Southern Oval)
  • Triple M Footy Fun (Southern Oval)
  • Inflatables and Super Goals (Southern Oval)

 

Triple M Footy Fun

Triple M rocks footy and they’ll also be rocking the Southern Oval on game day. Get a photo with their giant inflatable guitar arch or test out your handball skills, take part in Triple M’s Giant Pong Challenge or spin the wheel to win some awesome giveaways.

 

AROUND THE STADIUM

Please make sure to leave your cash at home, Optus Stadium is currently a cashless venue meaning you will need to pay using EFTPOS at all food and beverage outlets.

 

Other key points:

 

  • Do not bring bags larger than an A4 piece of paper. 
  • No cloaking facilities available. Don't bring bulky items. 
  • Do not approach players or officials for autographs or photos. 
  • Practise good hand hygiene.
  • If you feel unwell or have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms during the two weeks prior to this weekend’s game, please DO NOT attend. If you begin to feel ill whilst at the game, please make sure to notify an Optus Stadium representative immediately and follow the directions of any venue, club or AFL staff.

 

Arrive early… avoid delays

In addition to downloading your digital ticket prior to arrival, getting to the stadium early will ensure you are not caught in long queues outside the stadium in the lead up to the game.

 

OPTUS STADIUM RESTAURANTS AND CATERING

 

The City View Café will be OPEN.

The Goodwood restaurant will be CLOSED.

The Freo Clubhouse will be OPEN. Members with access can log into their MyFreo account to show their 'The Freo Clubhouse digital pass' for River View Room entry on Sunday. Fans can catch pre-match interviews and the post-match press conference in the room. Please note, the final Transperth buses will be leaving 45 minutes after the game.

 

MATCH DAY ENTERTAINMENT

 

Pre-game

The Purple Playground is located on the Southern Oval where there will be inflatables, super goals and an airbrush tattoo station! You can catch all the fun from 12.30pm right up until bounce down.

 

Freo Footprints live on-ground!

Freo Footprints is an exciting new program for children, aged 2-4 years. Children are encouraged to participate in running, jumping, balancing and the basic coordination skills of kicking and catching. The program incorporates various forms of sporting equipment such as footballs, sponge and tennis balls, and bean bags to enhance movement patterns, hand/eye coordination and listening skills, in a fun and highly engaging environment.

 

Quarter time

Triple M Live – The talented Adam Garrett will be performing live at quarter time from the level 5 stage.

 

Half time

Have your say on what song should kick off the second half! Head over to the official Fremantle Dockers Club App pre-game to have your say on which song should be played as the team enter onto the ground for the second half. This week fans will be able to choose from four fun hits.

Stay in your seats at half-time for your chance to take part in the Local Legend Challenge, thanks to RAC Insurance. Two lucky fans will go head-to-head in a trivia challenge based on their local knowledge of the Club and WA. Who will be crowned the Local Legend?

 

GETTING TO OPTUS STADIUM

Transperth will be running services to and from Optus Stadium to get you to the footy.

 

There'll be plenty of services running to get you to and from Optus Stadium. 

Trains will be cancelled on the Armadale Line between Gosnells and Armadale, and Mandurah Line trains will be impacted by a nightly closure between Perth Underground and Cockburn Central stations. Train replacement buses will run while trains are cancelled. Use the Transperth JourneyPlanner or download the app to find the most convenient alternative.

Don't forget to plan your journey before you travel. 

 

Please note, the final Transperth buses will be leaving 45 minutes after the game.
