Four Fremantle players have polled coaches’ votes following their round six win against North Melbourne at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.

Polling 10 votes for the second time in six rounds, David Mundy now finds himself at the top of the AFLCA Champion Player leaderboard with 38 votes, four votes ahead of Melbourne's Max Gawn on 34 votes.

It is the fourth time Mundy has had nine or more coaches' votes this season, dominating in the midfield and having an impact on the scoreboard with his 30 disposals and three goals.

Mundy also had the most clearances on the field with eight, four of them from the centre, as well as seven score involvements which proved key in Fremantle's 51-point win.

Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe polled five votes after his 34 disposals and seven clearances, showing off his strength in the contest with 23 contested possessions.

Fyfe was also involved in over 40 per cent of Fremantle's scores in the match, finishing with 13 score involvements.

Caleb Serong earned himself five votes after having a career-high 35 disposals, 24 kicks and seven marks in a standout performance. 

Serong led Freo in the midfield with Nat Fyfe (34), Andrew Brayshaw (31) and David Mundy (30) all having 30 or more on the night.

Lachie Schultz kicked four goals straight in an impressive showing up forward for Freo, continuing to build on his strong and accurate start to 2021, kicking 10.2 for the season so far.
