The 2019 WAFL state game will take place ahead of Fremantle’s clash with Richmond at Optus Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Your ticket to the Fremantle match will also allow entry to the curtain-raiser between Western Australia and South Australia.

Last year’s WAFL v SANFL fixture saw WA end a 24-year drought, kicking eight unanswered goals to beat South Australia at Adelaide Oval.

The win also recorded WA’s sixth consecutive interstate victory, as they downed the SANFL side, 15. 12 (102) to 11. 10 (76).

While last year’s win against SA was their first since 1994, WA’s 2017 win over the VFL was the first on Victorian ground in 113 years.

Former Fremantle player Josh Carr will coach SA, who will be looking to avenge last year’s 26-point loss to WA.

Get down early to Optus Stadium for Sunday’s WA v SA fixture, with gates open from 11.55am and bouncedown at 12pm WST.

Bouncedown for Fremantle v Richmond is at 3.20pm WST.
