A pair of Fremantle forwards have been nominated for individual efforts in Freo’s thrilling four-point win over Richmond at Optus Stadium on Sunday.

Lachie Schultz has secured a Four'N Twenty Mark of the Year nomination, while Matt Taberner earnt a Rebel Goal of the Year nomination in his 100th milestone game.

Schultz leaped skyward to kickstart a brilliant individual play, pulling down a strong contested mark before converting through the big sticks.

With Fremantle nine points down and only 11 minutes left to play, Schultz seized his moment to help his side across the line.

Brisbane’s Daniel McStay and Josh Bruce of the Western Bulldogs are the other Rebel Mark of the Year nominees for round 20.

Meanwhile, Matt Taberner beat his Tiger opponent one out in Freo’s forward 50, before calmly slotting a left foot snap deep in the pocket

The Fremantle crowd were up on their feet after Taberner gave his side the perfect start to the second half of the match.

Sydney’s Tom Papley and Hawthorn’s Chad Wingard are the other nominees.
