After playing round one, Crowden struggled to break back into the team following the AFL’s shutdown. Once he returned against Collingwood in round nine, he retained his spot playing as a high pressure forward. He kicked six goals from his 10 games and averaged 4.7 tackles per game, including an equal career-high of 11 tackles against Hawthorn.
